Frank Moran is Chief Executive Officer and President of Team-One
, recognized among the nations top 500 Hispanic-owned companies
(Hispanic Business Magazine). As CEO, Mr. Moran oversees all
aspects of the company with its offices in central and southern
California and Belgium.
Born in Los Angeles, Mr. Moran is a recognized leader in the
business and civic community, particularly the Hispanic community.
He began his entrepreneurial career at the age of 27 by founding
Team-One This highly successful temporary and full-time employment
agency now places over 4,000 people annually and serves a
client list that includes local, small businesses and some
of the Nation's most prestigious corporations.
Attributing much of his successes to the ideals by which he
lives, Mr. Moran's business and personal philosophies are
unique. Thriving on assisting his internal team members to
discover their true potential and success, Mr. Moran measures
himself not simply by the financial performance of the company
but by the growth and development of its people. This he sees
as his personal responsibility.
With a "client first" mentality, Mr. Moran weaves
Team-One into the very core of his clients' business so that
Team-One can be a transparent, seamlessly integrated partner
in the client's growth and success.
Experience and Achievements
Mr. Moran has been honored by the Office of the Mayor of Los
Angeles, the Small Business Administration, and the Minority
Business Opportunity Committee with the "Advocate of
the Year" Award. Additionally, he is the proud recipient
of several awards from the Salesian Boys and Girls Club of
Los Angeles for his volunteer work and fundraising on behalf
of East Los Angeles children and youth.
Mr. Moran serves on many boards and commissions. Currently,
Mr. Moran is a board member of the California Chamber of Commerce,
is a member of the Distributions Managers Association (DMA),
as well as TownHall Los Angeles. Appointed by Los Angeles
Mayor Richard Riordan, Mr. Moran has served as Co-Chair for
the prestigious annual Latino Heritage Month, City Commissioner
for the City of Los Angeles, as board member for the City
of Los Angeles Private Industry Counsel, chair for the Los
Angeles Youth at Work and appointed by Governor Gray Davis
to the Los Angeles Welfare to Work. He has also proudly served
on the Board of Directors for organizations such as City of
Hope (a national cancer and diabetes research center) and
Operation Hope (America's first non-profit inner-city banking
organization).
Mr. Moran became the youngest person elected President of
the Latin Business Association (LBA) headquartered in Los
Angeles. Under his leadership, the LBA has become a national
and international organization, generating business ties with
government and business leaders throughout the United States,
Mexico, and Latin America. He also created, founded, and organized
the annual Hispanic Economic Summit in Los Angeles (now known
as the Latino Business Expo).
